Mother Earth Brew Co.
Mother Earth Brewing Company was born of the passion of three business-minded brewers seeking to share the 'Love' of craft.
Founded in North San Diego County in 2010 by Daniel & Jon Love, and Kamron Khannakhjavani, what began as a hobby years earlier had formed into a business. Passionate about the burgeoning craft beer industry, the trio set out to create a unique brand and established themselves in the fastest growing, and most highly competitive craft beer city in the world. Originally operating out of a 2200 sq. ft. industrial space, the business grew quickly thanks to enthusiastic patrons visiting the industrial, yet inviting onsite tasting room and adjacent homebrew store. With high-demand of its initial offerings, Mother Earth soon brought in additional family partners and began expanding by launching self-distribution of 22oz. bottles and kegs to stores, bars, and restaurants. Brewhouse upgrades soon followed and in 2012, Mother Earth opened a large Tap House in the historic downtown Vista district. This popular location thrived until its Covid-related closure in 2020. Since then Mother Earth has been seeking a new retail home in North San Diego county for its thirsty patrons.
The original Vista brewery with warehouse and office space continues to provide draft and specialty offerings to its home market of So Cal. After double-digit growth in 2014, the Vista brewery was bursting at the seams and the search for a larger facility began. Having initially looked within the local area, President and CEO, Daniel Love, led the company to consider locations outside the state while still allowing full distribution throughout the country and in 2015 the company began development of a new, state-of-the-art 40,000 sq. ft. production facility in Nampa, Idaho located near the state capital of Boise. A small tasting room in the brewery building lets customers sip a beer right where it’s made. Featuring a 40 bbl multi-vessel Mueller brewhouse, and the capacity to produce over 100K bbls/yr, “Mother Earth Nampa” went on-line in August of 2016 and through continuous upgrades and expansion rapidly became the largest brewery in the state of Idaho. As Mother Earth’s second regional headquarters, Nampa supports most of the company’s growth and produces beer for all markets outside Southern California.
After years of waiting for the right opportunity, Mother Earth opened its Boise, Idaho Tap House in December 2021. Just a few minutes walk from Boise State University, the Boise River Greenbelt and the Capitol, it is the newest destination for ME fans and craft beer lovers in the busy downtown district.
After just 12 years in business, Mother Earth beer is now sold in 20 US states and reaches numerous international ports, including the UK, Australia and Mexico.
